Two major fundraising events held each year are the Charity Golf Day and Christmas Trailer Raffle. Funds are also raised by holding Sausage Sizzles and other events throughout the course of the year.
CHARITY GOLF DAY
Our Charity Golf Day is held at the Dorset Golf Club, Croydon, on the last Friday in November each year. Individuals and business’s are welcome to join us to for lunch, followed by a game of Ambrose. Following the game, there is fingerfood along with the presentation of prizes and awards.
Your sponsorship will provide vital funds for community projects.
Please note: Our Golf Day on 27 November 2020 has been cancelled due to Covid 19 restrictions. We look forward to seeing you in 2021 on the last Friday in November.
CHRISTMAS TRAILER RAFFLE
Each year during December a trailer raffle is held in the ‘yellow” car park of Eastland in Ringwood….down the escalator outside Woolworths. The raffle consists of a trailer (included in the prize) filled with many excellent items for the whole family eg. BBQ, lawn mower, television and other electrical items, toys etc etc.
Value of the raffle is:
- 1st prize – $3700
- 2nd prize – $450
- 3rd prize – $350
In 2019 the winning tickets were 1st Prize: Ticket 8300 – Margaret, 2nd Prize: Ticket 6988 – Rebekah, 3rd Prize: Ticket: 6507 – Jim.
