Model United Nations Assembly

The Model United Nations Assembly Program encourages students in Year 11 to learn about other nations and to understand and appreciate the workings of the United Nations (UN) while they develop debating skills and gain self confidence in public speaking.

MUNA builds bridges of goodwill for world peace and understanding in the minds of our youth and encourages dialogue between young people to assist in assuring the future of our planet. Students represent a UN country in debates on matters of world political and social concern, simulating the workings of the UN Assembly in a chamber replete with country name plate and flags. Students dress in the national costume of the country they represent.
